Recommendations for good instrumental music? I picked up Joe Satriani's Strange Beautiful Music a while back and was impressed with two selections from the same: Oriental Melody and Mind Storm.

I'm a guitarist from Birmingham UK who has recently recorded a instrumental album featuring both electric and acoustic guitars. If you like music by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Steve Morse - you will love this. You can listen to free samples from my album at my site www.phillewisguitar.com
Feel free to sign my guest book and let me know what you think.
I hope you enjoy.

Sun, March 26, 2006 - 1:40 PMI would recommend the CD, "Passages" from Without Borders (Charlotte NC)...www.davidcrowemusic.com/withou....shtml, it can also be found at CD Baby: www.cdbaby.com/cd/withoutborders. David Crowe is an amazing composer and musician. It has been my good fortune to work with him for almost four years.
Another ensemble to check out is the Eurasian folk group that I drum for, Turku (www.turkumusic.com). 300 year old rock n' roll from the seat of civilization.
